Klein Orkest opnieuw Nr.1 op de Toplijst van de Jaren 80

NPO Radio 5 stond van 21 tot en met 27 september 2019 in het teken van de Week van de Jaren 80. Net zoals in de Week van de Jaren 60 en 70 wordt de week afgesloten met de Toplijst van de Jaren 80. Luisteraars hebben zelf kunnen bepalen hoe de lijst er in 2019 uitziet door te stemmen op hun favoriete hits uit de periode 1980-1989.
In de Toplijst van 2019 staan grootheden als Queen, Simple Minds, U2, Abba, Dire Straits, The Cure en Bruce Springsteen in de top 10. Op nummer 1 staat -net zoals in 2018- Over De Muur van Klein Orkest. Het lied uit 1984 over het toen nog verdeelde Berlijn kreeg net als vorig jaar de meeste stemmen van de luisteraars. 'The River' van Bruce Springsteen maakt dit jaar een sprong vooruit: vorig jaar nog op positie 10, nu op de tweede plek.
